#5 Cheryl Leutjen Loves Our Only Earth Right Now

Cheryl Leutjen cares deeply about the future of our planet. But like the rest of us, she often feels overwhelmed by the scope of our environmental challenges and a sense of powerless in the face of so much uncertainty. In her book, Love Earth Now: The Power of Doing One Thing Every Day, she uses humor and candor to inspire others to steer toward personal engagement and sustainable hope.

In this conversation, Cheryl shares some of the ways she’s found to approach the challenges of "eco-madness" more mindfully — not to prescribe how others should respond, but to invite each of us to find immediately doable ways to contribute to the sustainable wellbeing of the earth for future generations.

Great topics, great guests

Daron has chosen some really interesting people to talk to. Mindfulness practice really can happen anywhere. I’ve gotten lots of ideas from each guest and look forward to each new podcast.

Daron asks great questions

This is not your average mindfulness podcast. Daron asks insightful questions about the real meat and potatoes of having a practice in your life.

Daron and Friends Dig Into It

I love this podcast because Daron and his guests talk about real life.

How does their commitment to paying closer attention affect the way they do the things that matter to them? Often the answer is carefully, sincerely, and with an eye for beauty that might otherwise go unnoticed. The art of attention results, it seems, in lives that are themselves works of art.

Thanks to Daron for curating such wonderful stories, and to his guests for sharing them. I'm looking forward to meeting more interesting characters!
