Bassem's comedy was groundbreaking but it proved too controversial to remain on air. In 2014 he was forced to move to United States, where he has since had to work to re-establish his career in a new language. Voice of reasons

A huge fan of James O’Brien. He has been instrumental during the Brexit days and I very much enjoyed what he had to say on the issue and beyond. He is an excellent host and the breadth of guests he has been able to attract is fascinating and exciting.

Fatima Whitbread. Wow

Fatima Whitbread. Wow what an incredible lady she is. I felt overwhelmed by her treatment by her birth family. She is an inspiration. Thanks for her interview James. You couldn’t hide your emotion and neither could I.

Surprisingly soft

Given James’ combative style on LBC, these interviews, whilst engaging and clearly very well researched, are surprisingly soft. I’m thinking in particular of the Ed Davey one where James didn’t really “go there” re the Post Office. Disappointing
