About Kill Hannah
Kill Hannah was essentially vocalist/guitarist Mat Devine's dorm room four-track baby until a move to Chicago in 1995. Devine and a shifting Kill Hannah membership soon debuted a glitzy mix of glam, goth, and crunchy alt-rock. After a series of self-released EPs and a couple of albums (1997's Here Are the Young Moderns, 1999's American Jet Set), Devine found a lineup that stuck, and in 2002, Kill Hannah signed with Atlantic. For Never & Ever appeared in 2003; in addition to new material, it featured a few retooled versions of older songs. They followed it with 2006's Until There's Nothing Left of Us. The band released their fifth and final album, Wake Up the Sleepers, in 2009 on the independent label Original Signal Recordings.
