Damage picks up right where Collateral ended. I love how this book kept me guessing on who to trust all while falling for our bad boy anti-hero.
This book kept me guessing till the end!
I didn’t know what was a lie and what who was lying.
I loved how in this book Stefan showed his love for Gabriela even though he didn’t come straight out and say it.
If you have read book one you won’t be disappointed in the continuation!

Actual physical abuse is a no for me

This was just ok. The female lead was bratty and came off as not very intelligent. Making sense since she’s only 18 in this story.
Spice is good in any story, but the actual mental and physical abuse in the plot just doesn’t sit right with me. I get that both characters are mobsters and morally gray, but continuing a relationship with a man that continues to physically beat you, regardless of kink, is not a good message.
Damage-A Real Page Turner
Damage is the 2nd book in this 2 book series. I was so into the 1st book, Collateral, that I had to see how it all ended. This mafia-based dark romance is not my normal trope but it drew me in from page 1 of book 1 until it spit me out at the end of this book still wanting more of the love story. I was intrigued with the plot twists, duplicity of individuals and the love that finally was acknowledged. In my opinion I thought this to be a good book.
