Eve for Matter & HomeKit 4+

I know the market is somewhat a niche but Polish language would be nice addition. Also I don’t want to wait for the temperature history in eve thermo to refresh when I open each units page. I would prefer it to be refreshed already in the background. Maybe once a day, so it does not consume too much energy and the refresh is not so long when needed.

The schedules are unreliable. Eve Thermo schedules sometimes work and sometimes not. Eve Energy schedules stop working after power outage and their status needs to be manually refreshed in the app to make them work again. Imagine your heating being on when you left for vacation and expect it to be off. Or when you opened a window at winter for a while and the heating turned itself on during that. Imagine automated water system not turning on because there was a brief power outage earlier. How the plants will look like when you’re back from vacation. After months of back and forth with support, when they kept asking to re-add the devices to Home in various ways to address this issue, they eventually admitted it’s just how Eve Energy works, it’s by design and they won’t fix it. The contact with the support was a big waste time on this and other occasions when either they cheekily say that it’s working fine for other customers or they keep asking to reset devices and the whole setup, which is extremely time consuming and totally useless - not helping in anything. They don’t seem to have other solutions. While the devices and the app have great potential, because of the schedules and other issues that the company ignores, they are just expensive and very unreliable toys. I would definitely not recommend them for serious home automation.

I purchased Eve Weather expecting a premium product with reliable performance. Unfortunately the Eve app frequently sends incorrect low battery warnings, despite the battery being almost new and showing 100% charge. Eve support acknowledged the issue but provided no timeframe for a fix. Additionally, the app doesn’t allow users to temporarily disable these annoying battery warnings until a fix becomes available.

If Eve addresses this issue promptly or at least adds an option in their app to temporarily disable these battery alerts, I will gladly revise my review and increase my rating. Until then, this is a premium-priced product with a significant flaw.
