LIVING FULLY ALIVE. A podcast from: Mary Hyatt

Intuitive Living For The Modern Woman.

I’m on a quest to help women start living fully alive.

In my podcast, I’ll share real conversations and strategies for having more purpose, pleasure and passion in your body, mind, and soul.

From body love, mindset, femininity, success, sexuality - I cover it all!

In 2012 I was completely shut down, feeling lost, numb and freaked out. I was 75 pounds heavier than I am now, living out one of the darkest times in my life… and then something happened.

A SPARK.

An inner light began to flicker. I bravely stepped out of the shell of a woman I had become. I ordered 20+ books on Amazon and took myself to Mary-Come-Back-To-Your-Life-School. Fast forward 10 years later and now I am an entrepreneur, holistic personal life and mindset coach, Kundalini Yoga/Meditation/Breathwork teacher, and I’m empowering women all over the world to bravely step into their life and start living more fully alive!

Join me every week as I bring mindset shifting ideas, inspiring conversations and thought provoking interviews so you can finally say, YOU ARE LIVING FULLY ALIVE.

Can You Feel Your Internal Senses?

Can You Feel Your Internal Senses?

Most of us were not taught how to be in our bodies. To express what we were feeling from the inside out. Or see our sensations as a guide towards greater wisdom, insight and intuition. No, we were most likely encouraged to leave our bodies. See them as the enemy, and not to trust them. And so we remain disconnected from them, missing out on living fully embodied. We might find it hard to feel anything, let alone express what we are experiencing.
But learning how to identify and verbalize this nebulous world of our internal senses has so many benefits. It helps us respond rather than react to triggers, fears, and stress. It helps us learn how to regulate our nervous systems when we start going into survival mode. It helps us experience the present moment even deeper. And even helps us make aligned decisions.
Join Mary for this foundational episode as she walks you through discovering a whole vocabulary for expressing your internal felt senses. And make sure to listen to the end when she guides you through a somatic mindfulness practice to help you get in touch with the sensations you’re feeling.
ON THIS EPISODE WE WILL DISCUSS…
    - Integrating the body and the mind
    - How to increase somatic awareness
    - Learning the language of sensations
    - The difference between external and internal felt senses
    - 5 categories of somatic vocabulary
    - How our reactions are reactions to the sensations in our body
    - A guided somatic mindfulness practice with Mary
    - And more!

    Calling All My Conflict Avoiders!

    Calling All My Conflict Avoiders!

Whether you consider yourself a people pleaser or peacemaker or just can’t stomach the idea of a hard conversation - you might be a conflict avoider. Maybe you find yourself making jokes when difficult topics come up, maybe you’ve been holding onto a relationship for too long, maybe you bottle up how you really feel only to have a passive aggressive episode later… These might be signs that you are afraid of addressing conflict.
For many of us, we believe that the risk of being judged, being left, being misunderstood is enough to pretend everything is fine. But the reality is it’s usually not. When we don’t use our voice to share our truth, resentment, frustration or anger begins to build. In order to have healthy and intimate relationships we have to learn how to have difficult conversations. And luckily, Mary shares her tried and true tips to navigate these kinds of conversations in a way that will leave you feeling grounded and empowered!

ON THIS EPISODE WE WILL DISCUSS…
    - Mary’s own journey through avoiding conflict
    - Holding onto relationships too long
    - Exploring the root to why we avoid conflict
    - Looking at what conversations you’re avoiding now
    - What fuels your avoidance
    - 5 questions to ask yourself to get to heart of your avoidance

    - And more!

Manage Your Energy, Not Your Time

How vital is your life force energy? Do you know what drains your energy? Do you know what charges you up? Do you know when your energy is the highest, and when it is the lowest? And working with your energetic blueprint rather than trying to force yourself to keep up with someone else's, not only feels easier but it gives you permission to call back your power! If you’ve been feeling like you’re operating on an empty tank, this episode is for you!
ON THIS EPISODE WE WILL DISCUSS…

Do You Have a Destination Addiction?

Do You Have a Destination Addiction?

Ever feel like you are rushing to get to the finish line? How often are you fantasizing about your happiness being somewhere in the future? How frequently do you wake up thinking you should be further along than you are? Or maybe you believe that feeling secure, whole, or at peace is dependent on things externally changing. If any of this rings true you might be suffering from what one of my mentors, Robert Holden calls “Destination Addiction.”
In this episode, I explore what it’s like when you live your life believing that your happiness is somewhere outside of yourself. And when we wake up from the trance of hustling to “arrive” and recognize that what we want most in life is available to us right now - something magical happens. We start actually living. Tune in to this week’s episode for an opportunity to experience more presence, wholeness and peace RIGHT NOW.

ON THIS EPISODE WE WILL DISCUSS…
The definition of “destination addiction” The misperception that you can achieve your wholeness  How to experience more wholeness in the present The illusion of arriving The 3 elements to combat future tripping What causes spiritual homelessness Why we suffer from the pursuit of happiness And more!

Learning to Accept Your Whole Self

Learning to Accept Your Whole Self

Have you banished parts of yourself? Most of us have parts of ourselves that we believe are unworthy, shameful, unlovable, and just not okay. We all have parts of ourselves that we reject and ultimately exile. When you believe parts of yourself are a threat to your worthiness you will do everything in your power to push that part of yourself aside and deny the truth of who you really are. But the truth is that you can never cut off the parts of who you are. It takes so much effort and energy to exist as only part of who you are. In order to show up as our most authentic self, you have to embrace the parts of yourself that you work so hard to suppress. What parts of you have you kept hidden? What parts of you are you not bringing to the table? This episode is an invitation to get radically honest with yourself about the parts of you that you have been denying and see integration as the ultimate freedom.

ON THIS EPISODE WE WILL DISCUSS…
    - How we all exile certain parts of ourselves
    - Denying your desires and needs
    - What it’s like to live compartmentalized
    - Learning to understand your shadow side
    - 4 steps to welcoming your exiled self
    - Why self compassion is the antidote to shame
    - Letting go of conditional self love
    - And more!

Don’t Buy Into the New Year Hype

Don’t Buy Into the New Year Hype

Happy New Year! The “New Year, New You” energy is in the air! And with it comes a lot of pressure to hurry up and get moving. But we don’t have to buy into the New Year hype. There is a different way to ease into a fresh year that feels more connected to the natural world. What if we started the year in sync with the cycles of the moon? What if we could honor the season of winter that we are in? What if this time could be about slowing down, reflection, and rest?
In this episode, Mary explores what it’s like to set your intentions from a place of LOVE rather than SHAME. When we move from love, the pressure melts away and we tap back into our own rhythm. We let go of time scarcity and remember to trust the process. We stop trying to keep up with what everyone around us is doing. And we start aligning our year with what lights us up instead of trying to fix our flaws. If you need a permission slip to start the year off a little softer, this episode is for you!

ON THIS EPISODE WE WILL DISCUSS…
    - How the New Year is BIG BUSINESS
    - The 4 beliefs that motivate New Year’s marketing
    - Why our calendar is out of sync with nature
    - The power of starting with LOVE
    - Focusing on how we want to feel in 2023
    - Taking action FROM love rather than FOR love
    - Letting go of shame as a motivator
    - And more!
