Comfortable joy
I look forward to taking a few minutes of calming time for myself every time a new episode comes out. He describes everything in such vivid detail I can almost see it. His voice and his tales are so comforting it just makes me smile
Rememberances of Youth For All of Us
So I came across this podcast, and I must say Mikey D. just gets it! I am not from New York, nor even from the continental U.S. (raised on Maui); but the stories he tells and how he tells them transports me back to my childhoold. The memories of being a child: the best friends, the adventures, the influences of time and place - this podcast gets it all right.
One of the best ones out there!!
Transported back in time
As I sit listening, my family and I can visualize it all. TV show or movie based in this would be awesome!
