Customer Reviews
Unique and good
Eight Kisses is a compilation of eight Hanukkah romances. I found this concept to be very creative and intriguing. Eight different authors combine their talents to bring a very exciting romantic experience. I enjoyed the stories. I have been a Lori Ann Bailey fan for several years now, and I have never been disappointed in her books. She gives us another treat in A Highlander for Hanukkah. My only qualm with this group of stories is my own ignorance about Jewish tradition and Hanukkah. There were a number of times that my “Gentile - ness” got in my way : words I didn’t understand (ner tamid, Bnai Mitzvot, shin, etc) I found myself tripping over and feeling lost. It’s a nice group of romance stories - and I love how unique they are. I just wish there had been an appendix attached with definitions and explanations for people like me. I was given a copy of this book.
