Well, don’t forget that social media is a platform made for people to connect and nowadays people express themselves through this platform. And sometimes, some accounts have more influence than others and they make people feel worse about themselves instead of making them feel better. We define toxic positivity as the excessive and ineffective overgeneralization of a happy, optimistic state across all situations.
