About Plan B

Founded in 1999, Plan B is a Puerto Rican reggaeton duo comprising cousins Orlando Javier Valle Vega and Edwin Vázquez Vega, who go by (respectively) Chencho and Maldy. ∙ Throughout their career, they’ve collaborated with J Álvarez (“Juegos Con Mi Mente”), Zion & Lennox (“Dame una Noche”), and Nejo (“El Caballo”). ∙ The duo’s 2014 song “Fanática Sensual” topped Billboard’s Tropical Airplay chart and peaked at No. 3 on the Hot Latin Songs chart. ∙ Orlando Javier Valle Vega was nominated for a Latin Grammy for Best Urban Song for cowriting Cosculluela’s 2016 single “A Donde Voy,” which featured Daddy Yankee. ∙ At the 2016 Billboard Latin Music Awards, Plan B won Latin Rhythm Albums Artist of the Year, Duo or Group.
