Publisher Description
Reeling from the painful rejection of a man he thought he loved, Asher is left holding the baby.
Determined to follow through with the surrogacy he started with his ex, Ash brings home baby Mia, vowing to be the best father he can be. His daughter is his whole world, and nothing—not even an unexpected attraction to the doctor next door—can distract him from that. But as his feelings for Sean deepen, and painful family memories resurface, Ash must confront the possibility that love isn’t something to be feared—it’s something to hold onto.
When ER doctor Sean moves in with his friends next door to the undeniably attractive single dad, the connection is instant. The chemistry between them is scorching, but Ash is convinced there’s no room in his heart for anyone but Mia. Yet Sean sees the fear beneath Ash’s resolve, and he’s determined to prove that love doesn’t take space away—it only makes the heart grow. Now, all he has to do is convince Ash that the three of them belong together.
Customer Reviews
Ash & Sean
Enjoyed this story of scared, overwhelmed and tired single dad, Ash and his next door neighbor, ER doc Sean. The two meet under less than ideal circumstances when Eric comes home drunk. But determined to make it up to him, Sean offers an olive branch and soon he’s falling for the guy next door who’s just trying to hold it together on little sleep and too much coffee. I really liked all the friends and enjoyed getting to know the people in their lives. These two take it slow but it ends up right where it should.
Out of order… but catching up
I read another book in the series that follows this one, but it could stand alone… I’m back in the series… Yes, I’m hooked. I like the idea of these single men parenting and loving, recognizing the joys of sacrifice for their children. Romantic love seems difficult to include, but the right guy turns out to make it great. The conclusion was perfect and set up the next book just right…
