The ACS+ Yearly membership starts with a free 7-day trial period. Once the trial is over, you'll be charged $29.99 USD per year. Your ACS+ Yearly membership will automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can go to your Settings > iTunes Account & App Store > Apple ID > Subscriptions to manage your membership and turn auto-renew off. Your iTunes Account will be charged when the purchase is confirmed. Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription during free trial.

I love colour story!😊
Colour story is without doubt the best app I’ve ever used for editing photos. Despite being a free app, the control you have over editing never feels limited & it’s only ever extra packs etc which are up for in app purchase, everything you get with the free version is good for creating well edited pictures. As a blogger, I use this app for both my instagram pictures & my blog posts - I love how you can save an unlimited amount of edits on the app, it makes it very simple to batch edit a bunch of photos for your Instagram so that they are keeping up with the theme you’re going for, and it helps my blog look more consistent. I also LOVE that it has an Instagram planning section - that’s something I use a LOT & I find it incredibly helpful. I haven’t got any faults for colour story!
It’s changed!
This was always my absolute fave app for editing, I’ve used it daily for so many years I’ve lost count, I’ve been here since the start. I’ve purchased almost every filter pack.
Now I couldn’t honestly recommend it. Every new filter pack is locked behind a subscription fee, which I obviously wouldn’t pay for as I’d be paying a monthly fee to use a handful of filters as I already have access to most of them because I’ve *already* paid! And I couldn’t honestly recommend anyone else spend money subscribing when the app has become so so slow it’s borderline unusable. Filters take ages to load. Photos take ages to load. The app crashes mid edit. If you go to use a recent edit on a new picture, all the thumbnails are of the new one so you can’t tell which recent edit you’re using. The grid planner has trouble connecting to Instagram.
I’m sad about it! I loved this app and I always felt it was so underrated, now I’m looking for another option. Ironically I’ll probably end up having to pay a subscription to another app!

The only photo editing app you need
I’ve used A Color Story since it launched and I’ve honestly never stuck with using a single app for so long. It’s got everything I need in one place (especially with the latest updates for batch editing and video/boomerang editing!) - way more than just pretty filters.
Having said that, the filters are BRILLIANT. I have downloaded most of the filter packs, and although I don’t use all of them, the favouriting function makes it really easy to edit quickly using only the ones that match my style. I always struggled to find apps with the kind of filters I liked - I didn’t want to make my photos seem “moody” or “vintage”, I wanted bright whites and bold colours, and this app is perfect for that (it does do moody and vintage too if you’re so inclined!)
