Through my Rose Tinted Glasses

Hey, I’m Brandon, I am 21 years old and just finished my degree. I love to cycle, design, walk around parks, and also happen to be gay.


I am going to take you through three years of my life. Three amazing, draining, depressing, exciting, ambiguous, courageous, glorious, dark and magical years. I am going to tell you about my University experience, through my rose-tinted glasses. This is written with the purpose of finding people who are in position where they feel they have no one to talk too, no chance of being their true selves, or feel that they can’t be who they want to and deserve to be. If this book inspires just one person, then its purpose is fulfilled. The round pegs trying to fit into square holes. The outsiders, that dream of fitting in but just don’t fit anywhere. Gay, straight, bi, trans, Intersex, Gender Fluid, whoever and whatever you may be. It’s not fun being lost and feeling alone, so hopefully this book and my story can be a light to brighten up a dark place in your mind. So, here goes, let’s take it back to 2016.
