About Aaron Pritchett

Born in British Columbia in 1970 and raised in a small town on Canada’s West Coast, country singer Aaron Pritchett combines a rootsy sound with modern pop flourishes. His early singles, like 2003’s “My Way” and 2006’s rowdy “Hold My Beer,” were traditionalist affairs with touches of fiddle and honky-tonk piano. By the mid-2010s, he’d filled out his old-school twang with catchy melodies on tracks like 2013’s beachy “Suntan City” and 2016’s down-home anthem “Dirt Road In ‘Em.” In the decades he’s been slinging his tunes, Pritchett’s revealed a gift for growing with the times, retaining his authentic country bona fides while dipping into music’s poppier side. In the late 2010s, he opted for the rhythm-heavy, radio-ready blasts of tunes like the all-or-nothing “Worth a Shot” or the beaming backroads love song “Better When I Do,” both big hits for him in 2018.
