The Sinnergists Podcast

The Most "Man-Centered" Theology Podcast on the Internet.
I did in fact, preach it, Brother.

I have only listened to the episode Preach It, Sister! And there was a lot of good research to make sure the authors’ original intent was made clear to how it applies to our lives today. There was also a lot of respect that was given to opposers, especially by someone who used to hold such view. Loved learning!
Audio is BADDD!!!!!

Haven’t had the chance to really listen to the podcast but that is because the audio quality is awful. At least for a headphone user I couldn’t handle the intense highs after barely understanding when the audio gets really low. Hope they can take more time to refine the sound because I would love to give it an honest listen. (I listened to Episode 20) *this is more for the podcast so they will please do something about the sound
Not Just Another Beer-and-Theology Podcast

Even when I disagree with Nick and Thomas' theology, I alway appreciate their patient and honest discussion. They manage to strike a very nice balance between "preaching" and "teaching" so that you never really feel like you're either hearing a sermon or a lecture - just a conversation between intelligent friends.
Questionable theology

I only listened to the episode Preach it, Sister! And there was a lot of gymnastics going on to make the scriptures say what they wanted it to. Also they spoke very negatively about men who have spent their entire lives serving God and people faithfully. Just beware!
Legit!

Nick is a top-shelf scholar. He will soon be a name you'll find on the bookshelves! If you're tired of popular level podcasting, he's your man!
Worthwhile

I highly recommend ths podcast, especially if you haven't considered opposing Christian views on these topics.
Refreshing

I’m very glad I stumbled across this podcast through Twitter and I’m looking forward to more episodes. In the past I’ve grown tired of Theology because it seemed to me to consist entirely of debating obscure points that were of no use to the average Christian and creating divisions where there should be unity. But I appreciate the approach these guys are taking to figure out what these teachings mean for us and why they are important. As I continue to work out my faith, I look forward to the guidance I may get from this podcast and people who seem to be asking important questions. On another note, coming from a Southern Baptist background it is extremely weird for me to hear a discussion on Theology preceded by a discussion on beer, but I suppose I will get used to it lol
Challenging and Edifying

We have been indoctrinated with certain presuppositions and traditions in our modern/post-modern denominations that have yet to be stirred, argued against, or eroded away. We, as Protestants, Evangelicals, or Confessional Christians have been taught what to believe and how to read the Scripture regardless of acknowledging our own presuppositional and traditional blinders. We have essentially chose to wear our own tradition’s rose-tinted glasses. Chose? Yes, chose. Did God decree them or are they literal blinders we have took upon ourselves, that have kept us from the full-orbed understanding of God? Cue the Sinnergists... Cue the Synergism. Man-centered? I think not. For the Glory of God, for the love of God, and neighbor? I think so. Is faith and love an active choice? It certainly is. I’ll hop off my soap box now and sing this podcast’s praises. Thomas and Nick are two very learned saints who break down theology in an exegetical and historical way. They suss out the “orb” and share God’s Scripture in order to make it a full-rounded, Gospel-centered, masterpiece. Their synergism (or sinnergism) not only praises God in His providential plan for redemption. But they share such a providence from the perspective of God’s very early Church instead of a 16th century rendering. Essentially, what I’m saying is, if you’re open enough to a synergistic interpretation these two saints are your guide. They didn’t pay me to write this review at all. In fact, I used my own freed will. Soli Deo Gloria.
A Concise and Honest Podcast

I’ve followed Thomas for quite some time. When I saw he was working on a podcast, my interest was peaked. Nick and Thomas work together to form an informative podcast that discusses what The Bible actually says. I appreciate the concise nature of their study and the honesty that they approach it with. Any student of The Scriptures can benefit from this podcast. Even if you don’t agree with absolutely everything that is said, you can be challenged to go back and review your own thoughts and opinions on whatever topic they cover. Oh, and I’ve only listened to one episode. It was a great blessing. Keep up the great work guys.
