Joystick Mapper is an application that allows you to configure your joysticks or gamepads to simulate keyboard keys/mouse movement/mouse click/mouse scroll, so you can control any app or game using them, even the ones without built-in support.
A very good companion for First Person Shooters, Flash Games, Media Players, Photo Editing for example.
Works great with a variety of gamepads, including (but not limited to) Xbox, Logitech, Ps3, Ps4, Steelseries, Nintendo.
Features:
* Use any axis, dpads or buttons on your joystick to simulate keyboard and mouse;
* Map any of the 4 directions from an Analog Stick independently;
* Smooth mouse movement;
* Adjust mouse speed for analog sticks per direction individually, this can help with crappy gamepads;
* Analog Shoulder Triggers can be used as buttons;
* Any "weird" combination you want:
* Button/Dpad/Analog Stick/Analog Trigger --> Keyboard/Mouse/Click/Scroll;
* Ready-to-use examples, easily modifiable;
* Compatible with USB and Bluetooth Joysticks;
* Easy to use interface.
Notes:
* To map Key-Combinations like Command+Q, just map two or more keys to the same input (in this example, one for Command and another for Q);
* Compatible with controllers that does use the standard HID Joystick interface;
* You may need to install a third party driver for Xbox controllers, you can find links to them in the Support site FAQ;
* If your PS3 gamepad does not respond to any input when connected using USB, just press the central "PS" button once;
* Wireless Xbox 360 Gamepads, sadly, does not use Bluetooth, you may need an adapter in this case. Search on the web for "Microsoft Wireless Gaming Receiver";
* Other similar apps may prevent Joystick Mapper from operating correctly, if you have one and have problems, please disable them before using Joystick Mapper

Hello users, we apologize for the delay in updating the application. It took a lot of effort to convert the app to 64-bit and fix several bugs that have been around for years, as a bonus now we have a faster application. Note that there are issues to be fixed and the application may have problems disconnecting gamepads (this is being investigated), but now the application is functional on macOS Catalina. Please if you find errors and problems, please let us know so we can fix them as soon as possible. Thanks for understanding and have fun!

Muy fácil de usar (Leer explicación)
Al principio, piensas… pff donde me he metido, pero luego dices que fácil:
cuando abres la app, conectas el mando o los mandos que desees usar, pueden ser al mismo tiempo (multiplayer)
ahi en la parte de abajo de la aplicación te indicará cuandos mandos se han detectado, yo uso mandos con cable USB.
entonces le dais a add a new preset. poneis el nombre del juego o del mando por ejemplo, para el cual configurais esos botones para acordaros.
luego le damos a add new joystick, entonces ahí es cuando. (IMPORTANTE) la opcion que dice add a new bind es para asignar una tecla del pc a la tecla del mando, es decir si jugamos a un juego que en el pc la letra A es para disparar, ene l mando queremos que sea la tecla redonda del mando, donde pone scan presionaremos la tecla redonda y donde esta la ultima pestaña al lado de la opcion de borrar asignaremos la letra del trclado A para que pulsando la redonda del mando dispare, y asi sucesivamente. (ATENTOS) donde pone add a new joystick en donde estamos configurando los botones del mando, es para conectar un 2º mando para jugar multiplayer. buscaremos en el juego cuales son las teclas del teclado para el 2º jugador, y haremos lo mismo que con el mando 1.
(POR ULTIMO) cuando cerremos la pestaña donde asignamos las teclas (obligatorio cerrarla para usarlo) pero sin cerrar la aplicacion es decir lo que vendria siendo un cmd+w nos quedara la pestaña principal que es donde pondria el nombre que le asignamos antes, y ala izquierda una especia de cuadrado en blanco(ATENTOS) teneis que darle click al cuadrado blanco para activar la configuración anterior y poder usar el mando. Y ya podeis jugar eso si no cerreis la aplicacion si no no podreís jugar.
y asi de fácil :D.

Eduard, solo queria darte las gracias por tus instrucciones, porque como dices al principio, no es muy intiutivo que digamos el tema de la configuracion, mas que nada el detalle de tener que darle al cuadrado blanco para activar la configuracion. Es para el jugo Dirt2 de Colin McRae

Funciona con Xiaomi Gamepad !!!!
La aplicación funciona con el mando bluetooth Xiaomi Gamepad !!! Está genial y es muy facil de configurar.
Sin duda recomendada para poder usar este gamepad en nuestros Macs. Estoy realmente sorprendido.
