The duo of Yūjin Kitagawa and Kōji Iwasawa got their start as street musicians in Yokohama, before the audience for their jaunty acoustic performances grew too big for the sidewalks. Their songs draw on folk and ‘60s rock, with gentle melodies and sunny, sing-along choruses. Even when they rock a little harder or add an orchestra, the core of the Yuzu sound remains—acoustic guitars and voices ringing out in beautiful harmony.
