About Goetz Oestlind

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I get the most beautiful musical inspirations in silence - I have to be at peace for that. There is incredible power in stillness that we humans can use even more. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Andreas Schmidt, Berliner Philharmoniker, Cheryl Studer, Claudio Abbado, Eric-Ericson-Kammerchor, Gustav Sjökvist, Swedischer Rundfunkchor, Brahms: Ein deutsches Requiem Hélène Grimaud, Chopin & Rachmaninov: Piano Sonatas (iTunes Version) iTunes Version Michael Jackson, The Essential Michael Jackson For me, these three albums contain masterpieces from the last centuries - both in terms of composition and interpretation. Great musicians whose names the world will still know in a few hundred years. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Soluppgång” This title is a homage to the nephew, my great-great-great-grandfather, who founded a piano factory in Arvika/Sweden in 1888. His spirit lives on in my music - the Swedish title means "sunrise" - you can sense the slowly rising sun in the tones.
