About Goetz Oestlind

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I get the most beautiful musical inspirations in silence - I have to be at peace for that. There is incredible power in stillness that we humans can use even more. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Andreas Schmidt, Berliner Philharmoniker, Cheryl Studer, Claudio Abbado, Eric Ericson Chamber Choir, Gustav Sjökvist, Swedischer Rundfunkchor, Brahms: Ein deutsches Requiem Hélène Grimaud, Chopin & Rachmaninov: Piano Sonatas (iTunes Version) iTunes Version Michael Jackson, The Essential Michael Jackson For me, these three albums contain masterpieces from the last centuries - both in terms of composition and interpretation. Great musicians whose names the world will still know in a few hundred years. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Soluppgång” This title is a homage to the nephew, my great-great-great-grandfather, who founded a piano factory in Arvika/Sweden in 1888. His spirit lives on in my music - the Swedish title means "sunrise" - you can sense the slowly rising sun in the tones.
