About Low Heat

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was probably about 7 or 8 years old (early 90’s) when my grandfather took me to one of those places where they sold pirated (yup!) audio cassettes and bought me Michael Jackson’s “Dangerous”. That was the first tape I owned. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? 7 Days of Funk, 7 Days of Funk Flying Lotus, Los Angeles Mndsgn, Body Wash I chose these because they remind me of a time where music (for me) still had a lot of mystique and magic to it. Especially “Los Angeles”. It opened my eyes to the possibility of combining hip-hop with electronic music. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Ready 2 Go” “Ready 2 Go” captures a certain vibe I strive to create with my music in the best possible manner. But to be honest, I don’t really like describing or explaining my music, it speaks for itself. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? This was in the summer of 2021 when I released my first EP with Stereofox. These were exciting times for me, the EP did well and I was feeling super motivated and creative to work on the next projects I was about to release. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? To me music is not about bucket lists and achievements but expressing yourself as an artist and having fun. With everything going on in the world today, if I’m alive, healthy and can spend my time creating music, I’ve already achieved what I wanted.
