Action Bronson has been many things throughout his wholly unique career: rapper, chef and gourmand, New York Times best-selling author, TV personality, and world traveler—and now he’s adding visual artist to his CV as he launches his Apple Music show, Live From the Moon. The Queens-bred Bronson will show off his collection of rare music and wild anecdotes from his travels around the globe, packaged along with his original iPad illustrations inspired by those smoke-filled adventures. “This is a playlist of my journey through life,” he says of the show. "All the places I've been, all the different musics we've sought and found—this show is all about taking journeys to the fucking furthest points of humanity." From '70s Turkish funk to the forgotten disco hits filling the dance halls in Shanghai in the '80s, the next wave of soon-to-be-sampled gems provides the soundtrack for his singular brand of hazy wisdom.
