wow, our menstrual cycles can tell us all of that?! with Zainab Alradhi
This week we spoke to Zainab Alradhi, founder of Niswa, about what it means to connect with our bodies through our menstrual cycles. We explored the importance of having body literacy and why we need more emphasis on it in the Arab world, alongside how to best align the activities or projects we undertake with where we are at in our cycle because of the hormones released within us at each stage. That's not all, we also dived into how women suffering from PCOS can connect with their cyclical nature (spoiler: using the moon), and more!

I am obsessed with this podcast. I plan on binging the entire season 1 all Ramadan! These girls are so likable and relatable as a fellow TCK and I am eagerly waiting for season 2! ♥️
Love finding more people I relate to!
I heard about the “phenomena” of Third Culture Kids last year, and instantly felt legitimized for not feeling like I have one place to tie my identity to. Rather it’s the collection of places and cultures that make up who I am. The people I feel most “at home” with (because home isn’t a place for me) are other people like this; other TCKs. I enjoy hearing about the unique cultural patchwork of every single one, and getting to hear about your experiences is refreshing and enjoyable. Thanks for starting a podcast community for us!
