Real Boring
They sound so bored. Like they all need a nap. I listened to the Mythic Quest episode from two years ago and a little of the most recent episode to see if they perk up at all, but no. At one point Jordan actually yawns. Their review was long and yet, still very surface. “I liked it” “I like that actor””I liked that episode”. They don’t seem very qualified as critics.
I believe!
In this podcast, three (sometimes four?) hosts chat about a season of a popular show or film - a casual conversation like (as one reviewer said) a dinner party. The individual personalities mix well and offer dynamic, insightful takes that bring the listener deeper into the seasons of shows we’ve enjoyed (and want to keep alive!).
What needs work is when hosts haven’t watched the full seasons of the shows.
I think you have a dynamite formula when you choose shows you all watched in their entirety. In no world do I want to hear about a show from someone who didn’t watch it. Perhaps just leave shows until you’ve all seen them or better yet wait until you all are equally enthusiastic about a particular one. For example, the show about Love is Blind, S3 was great - I loved your hot takes. Unfortunately, combining that show w The Vow S2 was a miss because no one had seen all of it!
I do think it would interesting to hear why someone didn’t finish the show - but IMHO your pod triumphs and reaches an awesome dynamism when everyone has seen it.

Just listened to this episode and boy, you guys are cynical. Give the artist some credit!
