Ep. 247: The Guy Who Stole The Mona Lisa (Video)

Just the mention of the name “Mona Lisa” sparks images of a cherub faced woman, half-smiling, hanging on a wall at the Louvre.  This is true of almost EVERYONE on the planet, but that was not always the case.  As a matter of fact, the Mona Lisa is kind of famous for being famous, and […]

Eclectic, enthusiastic, and well researched

Daniel is one of the best researched interviewers out there. You can tell he actually takes the time to READ the books of every guest he interviews… (Not his assistant, so he can read questions given to him by someone else. Very few programs bother doing that, including the so-called professional ones on NPR and Sirius.) His broad assortment of topics run the gambit, and some I skip. But the ones I hear always entertain and educate me about the topic.

Some of his guests are bookish writer/researcher types that don’t have a lot of personality or sense of humor. Lucky for us, Daniel has twice that of the normal person, so it makes up for it. All in all, this is a superior podcast that stays on top of my listening list. If you pick the topics that pique your interest, you will find it very worthwhile.

Daniel has a knack for finding fascinating guests!

Daniel J. Glenn, Analytical Mastermind, is among the most entertaining interviewers of this generation. I found Fascinating Nouns through another of Daniel’s Glennco Productions, Fascinating Gadgets, Gizmos, and Gear Based Technologies, also referred to as FGGGBT. After watching a few random Fascinating Nouns episodes on YouTube, I decided to systematically listen to all the episodes in order. I was skeptical that I would find some of the topics, which surficially seemed mundane to me, fascinating. Was I ever wrong! Daniel is immediately engaging, unfailingly prepared, and infectiously joyful. Daniel has become my work companion. My job is awesome, but somewhat tedious. Daniel, with his brilliant interviewing techniques applied to a wide variety of topics with endless energy and mirth, helps propel me through my work day. I CANNOT recommend this podcast highly enough! #danieljglennfangirl
