My Heart!

I’ll start by saying I read a lot of books..probably more than I should :) And although I hv truly loved many of those books, this is my first time ever writing a review.

I so want to give this book 5 stars and would BUT THE ENDING! I will say no more because I don’t want to give away more than I already have. However, I will say this booked both evoked and invoked an array of emotions...and for that reason alone it deserves 5 stars but my heart will only allow me to give it 4.

Disappointed

I enjoyed most of the story. I like Julie’s writing style. I hated the ending. Like a lot.

Love on the Edge of Time

After letting this book sit on my mind for a day or so, I am ready to share my thoughts. I read this book over two days - staying up late to finish it. I was so, so caught up in the characters and their stories, I am still reeling by all of it.
Let me start off by saying I love Julie’s books. Her characters, storylines, and writing style are always top notch. I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this book until the last two chapters. After all the detail and story development, I felt the ending was a MAJOR letdown. There was so much opportunity to tie up loose ends, to give the characters the closure they so desperately needed and deserved. It was almost an, “ok, I’m done writing so I’m taking the quick, easy way out” type of finish. Perhaps, stretching it into two books would give it the opportunity and development for a better closure? I REALLY, REALLY wish it had ended differently. Then, it would be a 5+.
