Lifelog 4+

I absolutely LOVE this app for making character notes, observations, thoughts, or anything I wish--beyond a journaling app! It is a PHENOMENAL writer's tool for getting to the heart of character, or discovering something about a setting that might have a deleterious effect upon a character, and yet you don't know why or understand. By using tags and allowing yourself to brainstorm, the imagination will bring you places you never thought the character would go, and yetyou discover something that kickstarts the writing and gets you fired up to keep going and perhaps try a different path. The app has a variety of great uses and is just SUPERB! I cannot recommend it enough!!!

I was looking for a simple log to track my weekly goals. Life Log creates a list of entries by date and label, which is searchable. The simple interface makes it easy to scroll through past entries. I love that you can set reminders based on labels so I can create a simple goal without a reminder using one label and a time-sensitive goal using another label.

The one drawback is that the log entry seems to be type-in only. I cannot paste from the clipboard. This makes it difficult for me to import ideas from other sources. So I'll still use Evernote to collect my ideas. Being able to paste text into the goals would be much more convenient, though.
