Agree
I agree with everything said in the review below - good storyline and characters, but the jumping around is insane. The first book is the same, but this one adds even more perspectives. You can’t delve into the story because POV changes every 3 pages.
Frustrating
I love love love the story. And I really want to give it 5 stars but the way it jumps around is beyond frustrating. I found myself skimming over a lot of chunks of the book that were in other perspectives. And I found myself not really wanting to read it. I understand the author is trying to give the reader the idea of something big going on, but I really don’t need to hear about the rat receiving one order, or Sash’s point of view on the unus spell. Being told from Anna, Te or Tress’ view would’ve meant a lot more. I don’t need to hear about the revolutions every little discovery especially when it takes pages to reveal one little thing. It’s like one little thing happens and then there’s a break and we jump to something else happening. You don’t get a chance to get down into the story. I feel the book would be much better if we stuck to Anna’s perspective and maybe Kristons since from the beginning these seemed to be the main characters. Not every single person we come across needs to be heard from. Is kind of distracts from the story and makes it less personal.
