Lying in bed and hearing my dad practice Bach on the piano and going to rehearsals with mum and dad at the local village hall and St. Michael's church in Fram, I got to hear them practice J.S Bach’s B minor mass, Handel’s Messiah... grateful I am! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Aretha Franklin, Aretha In Person with the Ray Bryant Combo (Expanded Edition) Kate Bush, Lionheart (2018 Remaster) Stevie Wonder, Songs in the Key of Life Stevie: has such a special place in my heart, it got me through a year of panic attacks in my younger years. Kate: what a Wonder Woman and a force, she is such a role model. Aretha: my chum lent me this record - one listen and I fell in love! Tell us why you chose this song. “Tired Little One (Acoustic Version)” My first step towards writing my own songs, solo vibes, and believing that maybe I could do that. I had done lots of collabs and love doing these but I do love some of the songs that come from solitary writing.. this is one of those songs. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Getting to play and collaborate with heroes such as Alfredo Linares, Freddy Colorado, who Will Quantic joined together for the Combo Barbaro when we made "Look Around the Corner" in Cali, Colombia. Meeting Shuggie Ottis and Leon Ware to name a few. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Jules Buckley, Miquel Atwood-Ferguson and Quincy Jones on orchestra\magical string arrangements, a juicy organ, a massive choir to surround the audience, and the band and I in the centre. I would also want Kate Bush, Andre 3000 and Flying Lotus.
