Jacob Latimore

While he’s perhaps best known for his role on the Showtime series The Chi, Jacob Latimore has been singing pop and R&B since he was a young Radio Disney star in the mid-’00s. • Latimore released his first single, “Best Friend,” in 2005, shortly after moving from his hometown of Milwaukee to Atlanta to pursue his career. • He released a string of mixtapes (starting with 2009’s I Am The Future) and continued singing while picking up acting gigs in TV and film. • His 2016 debut album, Connection, landed just outside the Top 20 of Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. He’s since released two more albums in the Connection series, including 2020’s C3, featuring 2KBABY, Mulatto, and more. • Latimore’s filmography includes Black Nativity (2013), The Maze Runner (2014), and (2016).
