Great app with potential
The first time my mate suggested this app, I immediately downloaded it. An app that would allow me to find the best places to eat and drink around Melbourne was the only thing missing on my phone. Where social media’s such as Facebook lack in the locational reviews, I feel the happiest hour could fill. If more places were to be added and potentially a map to see where your mates are at what bars, mayb even a live scoring system of bars and eateries, I believe this app would be sensational
Need to improve
Is a good app but still needs to improve, when asking about location the app still shows you venues super far away from my current location, always have to switch on to the map to see what is close by me.
Also they say “recommend or add a promo /specials/happy hour and get the chance to win a voucher to spend on your favourite place” yeah cool, but there’s not an option on the app to do this. Instead you need to send via email. And for each email you send you get a chance to win.. it will be much easier to have like a button inside the app to do this and collect your chances to win such voucher
I tried to find the email everywhere within the app and couldn’t find it, had to google it in order to send a couple of specials we have in our restaurant to promote them
Wow!
Most times when an app asks you to, “turn your location on while you use it,” it feels almost pointless because they aren’t going to take it into consideration properly anyway... The Happiest Hour blew me away straight away with how accurate and up to date food and drink offers were, and even listed the places that were ACTUALLY close by! Extremely impressed and have already started recommending them to friends.
Seriously, just do yourself a favour
