See AllGood, but I missed the suspense of book #1
I did enjoy this story. Interesting plot and likable characters. But I have to admit I liked the first book, Above and Beyond better. It had a lot of action and suspense mixed in with the romance. But this second book is pretty much a romance. I kept expecting an element of danger, but it never came.
Say you’ll Stay
Tender story of a secret service agent who befriends a dead colleague’s widow and young son, even becoming surrogate father to the boy.
After five years, the couple discover friendship has grown into love. The problem is his job. Can the widow handle the idea of being a mate (once again) to a man who protects the President with his own life. One dead husband is enough! Simon, the boy, believes the job comes before family, and he doesn’t believe he will ever be good enough for a father to love.
Good flow and character development. I highly recommend this book.
