All I Need

This book was everything I hoped it would be! I have eagerly been waiting for Ian story ever since we heard about him in book 1 of this series. He was the damaged friend that we don't really know too much about. This book reminded me a lot of Beauty and the Beast as Annie heads to a dark castle to care for Ian who lives as a recluse and hates the world. He lashes out at her all of the time, but at the same time is captivated by Annie. The writing was great as the author paints the agonizing pain that Ian has lived with for 15 years. Annie is also held captive in a different way. She takes care of her family and never puts herself first. Annie and Ian find the strength to make changes in their life from each other. I loved watching this story unfold and I loved watching Ian become the man I knew he'd be. I've loved his character from the beginning. I'm a sucker for the tortured heroes. Ian and Annie's story did not disappoint. I'm sad to see this series come to an end. I've loved getting to know these guys and the strong women who have become their partners. Great read!

When I read the blurb for this one, it grabbed my attention and I wanted to read it. It was set in Scotland and I love everything Scottish, so I had to read it.

It reminded me a little of Beauty and the Beast but with a modern take and I liked it. Because lets me honest who doesn’t like a brooding/damaged hero????

Ian is a mean brooding man vs Annie’s good natured, wants to help everyone. Put them together and sparks are going to fly and they did!

This one was absolutely my favorite from the All in Novel collection! You learn about Ian and the tragedy he endured throughout the other books in this series but his story was the most compelling. He has had to live with the consequences of taking that boat for a joyride and almost dying from it which he wishes he had since he suffered so many burns and could barely walk. He moved to his ancestral home in Scotland and closed himself off from everything and everyone.

It's been several years since the accident and his father has seen him spiral downward long enough. He gives him an ultimatum about the young lady he hired to take care of the place. The same young lady Ian fired. With no choice left but to re-hire her, he makes the call that will change his life forever.

Annie has always been there to help her mom and siblings since her father's passing. Now, she wants to make her own way in life since those same siblings aren't too young anymore. Going to work for Ian will help make her dreams come true. She wants to get into marketing since she is pretty talented with graphics. Needless to say, she goes back to work for him and pretty soon, they fall into a comfortable routine. Ian has his suspicions that Annie is innocent and he eventually offers up a trade-off. He will answer all her inquisitive questions as long as he gets to give her pleasure like she's never known before. The only problem is the demon's inside Ian are more powerful than the connection these two have developed.

My other favorite part of Ian's story is when he finally hits rock bottom and realizes something must change. Even he leaves you not knowing for a few chapters which one that might be. It really brought tears to my eyes that this broken man had finally found true love but his walls pushed her away. Now, what was he going to do to prove to her that he was not the same person she met? This is one of those stories that kept me turning the page and not wanting to put my Kindle down because I didn't want to miss "that" moment when they get their HEA.
