Publisher Description

A brand new, never before released standalone story in the Compass saga from New York Times and USA Today bestselling authors Jayne Rylon and Mari Carr.

Austin Compton has struggled to live up to the Compass legacy his entire life, afraid of disappointing his overachieving family. After dropping out of college, he convinced his parents to buy a big rig and let him contribute to the Compass Ranch in his own way.

On the open road he discovers a happy medium between the freedom he craves and the obligation that comes along with the Compton name. When he picks up some unexpected cargo in the form of a gorgeous if battered stowaway, he’s in trouble. The same reckless urges that convinced him to abandon his education are telling him to keep Hayden close and safe, maybe even teach her how to love again after the disastrous relationship she’s fleeing.

When troubled times fall on Compass Ranch, Hayden will do anything to repay the kindness Austin and his family showed her. It’s time to support Austin like he’s done for her, if her past doesn’t catch up with her at exactly the wrong moment.

A great story.

Heaven on Earth is the first book in the Compass Boys series. This series is a continuation of the Compass saga that began with the Compass Brothers series and also includes the Compass Girls. I haven't read either of the first two series and I still enjoyed this book a lot. I must say, though, that now I really, really want to go back and read the others. There were a few references to family history in Heaven on Earth that I would have had more insight into if I'd read the other series first.

If you've ever read anything by Jayne Rylon or Mari Carr before you know that they write really hot stories and this one is no exception. I did like the way that this story took time to build up to the sexy time, though. Hayden has been hurt badly by the only relationship she's ever had, with her high school boyfriend. When she stows away on Austin's big-rig he wants to save her but Hayden wants and needs to prove to herself that she can standalone without a man to support her. This is not an insta-love story but when they finally do the deed – wow!!

Heaven on Earth had me in tears more than once. If you are already a fan of the Compass saga you won't want to miss this opportunity to revisit old friends and check in on the Compass Boys. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of this series.

An advanced copy of this book was provided to me but my review was voluntary and not influenced by the author.

Fun, fast, hot and steamy read!

**Received ARC for a fair and honest review**
Heaven on Earth is book 1 in the Compass Boys series. The book was hard to put down and a fast read, felt like it was over too soon. I'd rate this book at 4.5 stars.
Austin goes off to college and after 2 years realizes that it's just not for him. When he comes back to the Compass Ranch, he doesn't want to feel like a complete failure and makes a suggestion that not only helps out the ranch, but allows them to profit and he's able to pay back the money for college. When he's out on a run for the ranch, he makes a stop at a rest stop and gets more then he bargained for.
Hayden is on the run trying desperately to get away from her abusive ex-boyfriend, with literally just the shirt on her back. She's got no money, wallet, clothes and worst yet is hiding in an animal trailer to get some rest and regroup. But when she wakes up the trucks moving and she didn't plan for that.
I really enjoyed the characters, they felt real, they had chemistry, the H was alpha, but not to crazy extremes and though the h had just run away from an abusive relationship she still had fight left in her and was a strong woman. She wasn't ready to throw in the towel and let life just roll all over her. I loved seeing the little bits of previous couples from the other stories/series. Always love seeing how they ended up doing. The only complaint I guess I have is the ending. I wasn't ready for it to end and I felt like it needed a little more, or an epilogue or something. Other then that it was a great book and I can't wait for the next book in the series!! Hope this helps!! Happy Reading!!!
