Brady J. Frey ,

Great book

It's an excellent, and to the point, book that outlines real working examples of responsive designs... and a road map on how you may get to it immediately! My only criticism would be the tail end of the book (dipping into the team process and the mobile first paradigm) is tall on assumption and slow moving. I sped through that like lightning, brushed off as a touch to the subjective, but otherwise nothing to taint the first 7/8 of a well thought out book. A great purchase for the intermediate and seasoned alike!

Brilliant and Timely read

I was looking for a quick how-to and came across this book. It's not about learning every coding trick under the sun although it offered some great examples. It was immensely valuable to me in that it helped shaped a new way of approaching a web development project. He made the overall concept and shift of thinking about web design from finite and exact to responsive and adaptive relatively simple and it was a great and fast read.

Fantastic read

The author lays a solid foundation of responsive web design in the first few chapters, answering the why's and how's all along the way. Then, he flips that foundation on its head, skimming just enough of the surface of "mobile first" and "progressive enhancement" ideas to explain the why's and how's all over again. I'm so happy I read is book. I can't wait to put all of these techniques into practice.
