Brett and Anglica
One Night by Christie Ridgway is book three in her One and Only. This is actually a revised version of her book Can't Fight This Feeling with extra scenes added. This is Brett Walker and Angelica Rodriguez’s story. Brett has struggled since returning from his enlistment but believes it is his duty to protect Blue Arrow Lake. Angelica might have been raised in a wealthy family but with her father’s legal problems, she has no money to her name. Brett and Angelica are so good together and I loved the way they worked together to find the person responsible for the burglaries occurring around the lake.
Ms. Ridgway is a wonderful story teller, making me feel as if I was right there in Blue Arrow Lake. This story was sexy, fun, and entertaining with very likeable and authentic characters. I also enjoyed seeing the rest of Brett’s family pop up in this story. I definitely recommend this book to other readers.
