Star-crossed lovers
This book has the ultimate drama and heartbreak out of all 4 books. Delwyn, the last oracle to find love, is still keeping himself alone till he can find his soul mate. He finds his soul mate to an Atlanean demigod in the past. Fabian as the son of a goddess and the servant of another is granted higher abilities and with that ability can see this handsome merman who stirs feelings in him that he never thought he would have. Fabian is mostly only for pleasure with bedmates but soon he can only imagine being with Delwyn. However, they know dreadful things will occur and now they have to figure out how Delwyn will find Fabian again in the present. L.M. Brown delivered a shocking twist into the present fate of Fabian, that I did not see coming but at the same time was also not a complete shock. However, there is still much left unknown that brought the demise of the gods and Atlanteans that we will find out in the next 2 books. The main present dilemma was fighting against a goddess who hates the mer people. A beloved character is killed, and Fabian is struck down that splits him from Delwyn. When the battle comes to a standstill, Delwyn must make a great sacrifice to find his happily ever after. I loved that the sexy scenes of Delwyn and Fabian is not the same as others but the intensity is still there.
