4.5 Fun & Sexy Stars!
I loved this enemies to lovers romance, it was everything I crave in a story. It was witty, heartwarming, emotional, so hot and sexy, and a bit of suspense that made it even more thrilling! Tess Winters came home to Chicago after enduring a bad breakup with her lover and business partner. She is determined to open her own cafe, making it on her own and not depending on anyone. When her best friend asks her to babysit for her little boy, Max, she was overjoyed to help out. She didn't realize that they also asked Nick Carrington to stay at their house to help as well. When Tess realizes the sexy jerk she has tried to avoid for years is there to stay, she tries to make the best of it. Soon she finds that he is not the jerk she always thought he was. He is great with Max, fun to be around and very considerate. Could she have misjudged him? When Nick learns that Tess isn't the stuffy prude he feared she was, all bets are off and he has to possess her. I really loved everything about Nick and Tess. They were witty, caring, and smoking hot together! They challenged each other and faced their challenges head on. But Someone doesn't approve of their partnering and the suspense adds to the excitement. I also loved their friends who were intriguing, supportive and fun. This is a wonderful start to this series and I am excited to read more from these characters. This book is the perfect blend of humor, charm, emotion and steam. It captured my heart and had me totally engaged from start to finish. I definitely recommend this must read romance!

Love the story line and the natural sassy dialogue! The characters really come to life and you feel like you know them.
Boring
Halfway through the book I got bored. The books progress halted and was stalling. I got bored of reading the book because of the mindless babbling the author wrote. The book didn’t have to be that long! The author was just trying to extend their book!
