Keyboard clicks

This app is really fab but I wish the keyboard sounds would still emit when the Ring/Silent switch is set to off - I would like to hear the clicks but not notifications sounds

No financial functions

This has all the features to be a perfect calculator app. It is simple when I’m looking for simplicity, and powerful and customisable when I want more. It even has RPN, the lack of which rules out so many calculators for me.

Unfortunately, it has almost no financial functions (apart from an ultra simple “tax” calculation). This is quite a large category of functions to miss out on completely. I was hoping for at least the basics like NPV, IRR, annuity calculations, etc. Unfortunately, the app completely fails in that regard. If it could replace all the functions on the HP12C for instance, that would make this perfect.

Touchy, feely!

This calculator is amongst the most tactile available. It fulfils most requirements effortlessly and looks (and sounds) virtually like a physical object.

Perfection would be for it to include all the functionality of the twenty or so other calculators I use, with conversions, pasting from clipboard, a larger RPN stack, a 'tape' history allowing historic substitution, etc.; but yes, I'm dreaming…

The 42 calculator is amongst the best and has had a permanent home on various devices here since I discovered it years ago. Top notch!
