Use case: Imagine you are on a trip with two friends: Emma and Daniel. You pay $100 for gas for the trip. Anyone with a calculator can divide that price three ways, but even then, you’d normally have to keep a record of the expense in order to divvy it up later. With Splittr, this expense is entered in a couple of seconds and divided equally with little time or effort.
Imagine that later, you, Emma and Daniel go to a restaurant. You’re not hungry, so you only order juice. Daniel orders a steak and a cheesecake. Emma gets a spinach salad. The bill is $80. Daniel forgot his wallet in the hotel room and doesn’t pay, but you chip in $60 and Emma pays $20. You need a math degree to calculate who owes what, right? Not with Splittr! Simply enter who paid how much and Splittr will do the rest.

Excellent and so convenient
Been using the app for a number of years now. Mostly used when travelling with friends to more easily track and split expenses. Really has taken the hassle out of trying to work out who paid what etc… especially when not everyone carries enough cash or foreign currency to split things on the spot, and saves the hassle of splitting restaurant bills across everyone’s credit card etc
Simple enough for anyone to use, and also has more advanced features around weighting splits etc.
Super Useful and Easy
1 point before I start is that changing the currency etc isn't super straightforward.
Anyway - really brilliant app. Simple to include all members or to share it between only a couple if need be (this is awesome). Equalisation of payments is cool - perhaps you could display a 'non-equalised' version too because its quite a shock to owe someone loads when you don't necessarily owe them directly. Not that I don't trust the app, just that it would be nice to know.

Used it since 2016.. Simply brilliant
I organise group trips every year for upto 12 people and have used this every year since 2016. It makes it incredibly easy to settle up group spending, removes all the stress of “I bought dinner yesterday!”, and generates a comprehensive report at the end of the trip with equalisation payments so everybody is square. People VERY rapidly get into the habit of asking you to stick their spending “In the app”. Highly recommended
