About Paul Davis
Born on April 21, 1948, in Meridian, Mississippi, Paul Davis signed to Bang Records as a solo artist in 1970. With his soft, country-inflected style, he had several minor hits; his first was a cover of the Jarmels' 1961 doo wop hit "A Little Bit of Soap." His first album for Bang, A Little Bit of Paul Davis, was released in 1972. He recorded throughout the '70s. ~ Rovi Staff
