Oh Liza Jane ,

A total blast, even for Blume beginners!

These gals welcome one and all into their insightful, cozy world of nostalgia, offering up such a fun book club hang (minus any shame about not reading the book). Their spirited readings and unique historical retrospectives delight my senses and banish ennui!

A fun conversation

Not only do I like reading the books Alison and Jody talk about, I love tuning in to see their take on the story and learning a bit more when they go on “deep dives” into various cultural topics that might strike them. A fun, casual, conversation with two friends in podcastland. Thanks for your dedication, ladies!

Such a fun podcast

What makes an enjoyable podcast is the interaction of the hosts, and these two are so fun. I love listening to the summaries and commentary on the books they read.

Their love for Judy Blume comes through and even when they point out problematic elements in books, it’s always from a good place. They don’t takes themselves too seriously. A perfect balance of fun and thoughtful.
