It’s as true as it gets. Alissa has captured the outback of Australia to a T. The red dust, snakes, down pours and the friendly farming community.

Loved this book.
The author has the country life of the central west down pat. Great characters she draws you in.
The growing love story of Hewitt and Fliss has just the right mixture, both hurt and afraid, despite obstacles they find their way through.
Would recommend this book to anyone who loves the rural life, including nosy but helpful neighbours.
Makes you want to pack up your belongings, jump in the car and head west to find that community you just read about.
Believe me, my husband came from that area between Dubbo and Orange what the author wrote is definitely not all fiction. No secrets in the country. 😊😊😊

Easy to read and hard to put down. They provide great insights into country life. I love the characters and can relate to them.
