Publisher Description
For three years, ballet teacher Natalie Taggart has lived across the hall from grumpy, reclusive, sexy Greer Wilde. Save for a handful of hellos and the occasional heated glance, they never spoke to each other.
Until the morning Greer lands on her doorstep, bleeding, beaten, and bullet-riddled.
Greer doesn’t need or want her help. He has only one goal: revenge. And nobody—not his brothers, and certainly not his too-hot-for-his-sanity next-door neighbor—is going to get in his way.
Each book in the Wilde Security series is a standalone story that can be enjoyed out of order.

Bold, Vivid, Multi-layered design gives the eye plenty to look at. Fairly average font choices. This author is one of less than a handful of auto-buy names for me, so I'd not even bother to read the synopsis. But the blurb is intriguing and makes me want to read it even more.

POV ~> Third-Person
Greer - oldest of five boys. Takes on the weight of the world as a teen by emancipating then becoming the guardian to his younger brothers with the help of one of his dad's colleagues when his parents are murdered one night. Vowing to protect his siblings and bringing justice via revenge to his parents' killer, Greer becomes the darkest and solitary of the Wilde boys. Natalie - former ballet dancer due to injury. Now a night shift talk radio DJ with a psych background and teaches ballet during the day. She lives across the hall from Greer & has developed quite the crush on the reclusive grump. Already injured from a mission-gone-bad overseas and now getting jumped by a trio of teens, he somehow finds his way back to his apartment, but never makes it in. Natalie finds him in the hall after work, beaten and bleeding. And asking for help?!? He's hell-bent on destruction, she wants to save him. Chemistry is present, but there's a lot of push and pull. He has some a-hole moments, she's very smart, but too stubborn.
It's an all-star cast. The Wilde brothers and their respective women, a cameo from a HORNET, a phone call to another special guest, and some new faces with old ties. Dialogue had the smart snark, attitude, sense of humor and overall personality that I've come to expect from a BURROWS book and she did not disappoint. The cast interaction was believable. The plot was dynamic, it had depth and twists and kept you wondering and guessing about people until the end. The flow was amazingly smooth.
Most of the conflicts were internal, but those are usually the hardest. While most of the surface issues were addressed and resolved, Greer is still a work-in-progress in the end - but at least he fully acknowledges and accepts that.
The conclusion is solid and satisfying. It's bittersweet - to read the ending, knowing this is the last Wilde brother, the last book in the series - to know we may NOT get updates on the couples and their future lives. My only question mark left was Natalie's parents and their lack of responsibility toward the custody of a minor in their care.
Overall, I love and recommend this series and author to anyone that loves Romantic Suspense. Anyone who loves strong yet sensitive alpha man that are tamed by that one rare woman that completes him. Anyone who loves Smart, Sassy women that are not afraid to save them-darn-selves when they can. No damsel in distress just waiting for rescue here. A great blend of heat and heart. Adventure and Adoration.

Too Wild to Tame
This was Greers story and the last of the Wilde brothers series. It was so appropriate that as the oldest that held the family together that he’d have the most darkness. Natalie was a perfect match for him! This series kept me totally engaged and I’m so sad to be finished! I’m really hoping for a catch up sequel, like a Xmas / something happens?? Would love to catch up on all the brothers and wives and their families! Andy needs a story too! And I’m also salivating for more Hornet! Ian, Tuc, etc! Keep writing Tonya! Your fans are waiting!
So good!
So, so good! Fast paced, high energy, and truly intriguing characters. This is Greer's story. He's the oldest of the Wilde Brothers and the one that carries the most emotional baggage when it comes to the death of their parents. Now he's looking for revenge and determined to find his parents killer. The twists and turns this story takes made the whole thing so exciting. I loved how Natalie handled Greer too. Never letting him get away with too much but being supportive and kind at the same time. Definitely a well done book and one you don't want to miss. I highly recommend it.
