

Peer into the mind of a teen internet sensation. Jacob Sartorius’ debut EP is full of cultural references geared toward fellow 14-year-olds. On “Jordans,” he serenades his crush by name-dropping sneaker brands (“Top of the world like I’m ballin’/I love you like a fresh pair of Jordans”), and on “Bingo,” he puts a playful twist on the nursery rhyme “Frère Jacques” by nodding to Facebook and Twitter (“I just wanna make you mine/Get inside your timeline”).
