Description
The White House's "1600" is a new way for kids and playful Americans of all ages to learn about what happens at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. All you need to do is tap "Start" and point your camera at George Washington (on the one dollar bill).
Built through a collaboration with the White House Historical Association and Nexus Studios, the app’s aim is to educate and inspire the youngest Americans to learn more about the White House's role in our democracy. Our hope is that whether it is experienced on a teacher's desk or dining room table, kids walk away from "1600" with a better sense of the institution and its purpose. Not to mention, a smile.
Tip: Move your phone around to explore from different angles, and touch the Oval Office to reveal a surprise.

Great App
I downloaded this app because it caught my interest. Though some interesting suggestions would be to have it to where the camera scans it and then plays the "video" even if not still directly pointed at it. Allowing to view around the entire White House. Also another cool idea would be to have a VR option
Great Idea, Poor Execution
This app was a well conceived idea, and my kids really enjoyed it. That said, the execution makes it very frustrating in actual usage. Anything that causes the camera to lose focus or sight of the $1 bill causes the audio and animation to start over, with no way to ad advance through it more quickly. I don't know all that it has to offer because we grew quickly tired of hearing the same lines over and over again. I look forward to an seeing and update that will fix these issues and let us enjoy it more fully.
Camera and Dollar Bill issues
The focus on the camera is soo bad, then when I actually get the dollar bill, it is so hard to "Explore around the Dollar Bill" because if I or the bill move, then the camera looses the focus and I have to start over again, 5 stars if they could improve this and make this for the $5, $10, and $20
