Southern grace and hospitality!
This is a sweet Christmas romance full of southern grace and hospitality that will leave you with a smile on your face and the spirit of Christmas in your heart. It features delightful and flawed characters, a precocious young child and her four-footed side kick, quirky family members and a truly romantic happily-ever-after.
Southern Comfort Christmas
A sweet, delightful sequel to the earlier Southern Comfort story. Here we have the continuation of the HEA, with Harper and Cameron getting married. I love the way Ms Lohr writes the story of their love—how real it is and how fun it is. Antics by Bella and her dog, as well as each other’s families and friends, makes for a lovely read.
Christmas Wedding
"The Southern Comfort Christmas: A Heartwarming Christmas Romance" by Barbara Lohr is book number six in the "Windy City" romance series. This is Harper Kirkpatrick and Cameron Bennett's Christmas wedding story.
Planning any wedding can be stressful and chaotic. As their wedding date gets closer Harper and Cameron discover having a Christmas wedding is even more stressful. Well, lets throw in family issues, Cameron breaks his ankle, Bella is acting up at school, and wedding arrangements that have to be changed to add to the stress they already are experiencing. How will Cameron and Harper handle all these situations and still get their dream wedding?
I enjoyed getting reacquainted with Harper, Cameron, and Bella. This is a heartfelt story where two people in love find a way to handle the wedding stress, difficulties that life throws at them, and begin the healing process with family issues.
This story is a wonderful addition to the "Windy City" series. The author has a way of making you feel a part of the story. The characters feel like your friends.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
