My initial thought listening to the guest was “this is boring”. He basically mansplained 60 years of presidential history to an audience that probably knows this stuff already. His point about charisma and electability is well taken but then he defends his decision to have dinner with Trump saying he’d be a blast. A blast? Unacceptable position and embarrassing view given how much damage, bad faith and ill will, ntm overt racism, sexism and classism (not just speech but countless actions) this president and his corrupt band of wretched goons have wrought. This guest thinks himself a liberal. Shame.

Very insightful and articulate sessions. They do a deep dive into relevant political issues that are important in our times. If you want dark, opinionated platitudes, there are plenty of alternatives. If you want to learn something insightful, this is your program.
Reminds of "WooCast" which is high praise in my book.
