Too many glitches

I love this app but it needs some improvement on the tech side - the app seems to crash every time a paid pulse is launched, presumably because of the amount of people using the app. This usually means I miss out on lots of pulses because my app was crashing while the pulse became available.

If I am lucky enough to get onto a pulse, I don’t always take the time to properly read the questions and put thoughtful answers because if you take too much time you tend get kicked out of the pulse if they have ‘maxed out’ and already got enough responses.

I can’t imagine companies having data from consumers that have filled in the questions as quickly as possible without properly reading them is going to be very useful.

Good for users, but question the data

It’s a fun app, but if I were a brand paying for the service, I would be wary of it. The paid surveys max out incredibly fast. While you’d think this would mean quick data, I find it hard to believe that every survey maxes out so fast because people are being honest. I don’t think all users are responding truthfully or even reading the questions. It’s only a race to finish so you can get your money. I think the app needs to explore ways to fix the immediate max out of paid surveys. Otherwise, brands who employ them should definitely question the reliability of the data, and take it with a grain of salt. OnePulse have even sent messages urging its users to actually write thoughtful responses to the open ended questions, so they’re clearly aware that many of the users are in it for the money and could care less about what the survey says. It’s a fun app for users, but if you’re paying to survey thousands of people, understand that your research may not be a reliable due to the way the app functions. I can’t tell you how many surveys have maxed out on me within seconds of opening them. And I feel like such a dolt for actually trying to read the questions and give real answers rather than just selecting at random to get to the end quickly.

UPDATE- I now have $56 in my account and when I cash out I will get $20 and I will need to wait another 30 days to cash out again!
This is a crazy situation. Should be able to cash out whenever you get to $20 or should be able to cash out the full amount earned in the past 30 days.
I really don’t understand why OnePulse does this 🤷‍♀️ it doesn’t seem fair at all. I’ve answered the pulses and I’m sure they have earned their money but they have a system that means I will never get the money I’ve earned unless I completely stop doing pulses for a couple of months!!!
UPDATE- I get more paid pulses now and probably earn about $20 a month. Thanks OnePulse 👍🏼 I love this app, it's a great way to earn a bit of extra cash, I've currently got about £7 in my account with them 👍 nice! Update.... This is my best little survey app but I used to get loads of paid pulses but now they are rare to very rare 😕 hopefully they will ping back to life soon. (Ikatypie)

We have new paid Pulses sent out to a wide range of users every day. Dependent on the company they go to a various number of people & demographics. This is why on some days you'll receive plenty whilst on other days none. We are working hard on getting even more companies onboard to send paid Pulses, so stay tuned!
