I read this book in 3 hours! I was hooked! I love the way she writes and how genuine all the feeling are. I can’t wait to read more!

This is a must read series! So much chemistry between the characters, puts you right in the book, love Diana's talent and writing!
Sexy and dynamic.
I loved this book. Diana Gardin shines with great storytelling, strong writing and a fast paced plot. I loved the main characters. Berkeley was a spitfire, showing how strong she was by putting Dare in his place right off the bat. And who wouldn't swoon over Ex-army Ranger Dare? Dude oozes sex appeal. The banter and chemistry is off the charts. I really enjoyed seeing two strong characters who have their own issues/demons, grow together. I also loved the setting of this book. As a NC resident, I could totally put myself in the town.
This wouldn't even be a complete review if I didn't say, "Oh my!" to those sizzling sexy times. Gardin knows how to write a love scene. The romance was well done and believable. I;m still thinking of the characters. Thankfully, LAST TRUE HERO is not Gardin's only book, because after I finished, I one-clicked her entire Nelson Island series. And then I bought the Ashes series, too. She's a fabulous contemporary voice. I can't wait to read SAVED BY THE SEAL, the next in the Battle Scars series.
