We’re excited to announce the biggest update to the Tripadvisor app in over four years. Just download or update to start browsing millions of hotels, experiences, restaurants, and traveler reviews. In the meantime, here’s a quick peek at what to look forward to:

• We made the search bar, maps, and filters easier to access and use.

• We help you start planning right away. When you open the app you’ll see a simple question: “Have a destination in mind?” From there, you can give us any details you know and get to saving.

• We revamped the home screen so every time you log in, you’ll get ideas based on what you like, your existing plans, and what’s nearby.

• We’ll take our cues from you and highlight inspiration based on your recent browsing history. Let’s say you’ve been dreaming of Bali. The new home screen will highlight things to do, just for you, and let you turn that maybe-one-day destination into a real, live trip (even if you’re just saving it for later).

I love it

I’ve been using it for past.. two years (at least) and it’s been very helpful. Every time I travel somewhere it’s my go to tool for searching food in the area and it never lets me down. I almost always find best spots and rarely have to leave a bad review. Thanks to other users’ pictures and comments I usually know exactly what to expect. I love the map feature where you can see all the restaurants in the area.

I’d love if there was a tab for a menu in restaurant pages so users could find it easily with scrolling through photo gallery.

Menu is an important part of deciding on where I will it especially since I’m vegetarian and I need to double check if I can find something to eat in a restaurant.

The Grand Plaza Hotel in Sharm el Sheikh is a true paradise in Egypt! We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the hotel reception staff for their professionalism and hospitality. The employees are incredibly helpful and always ready to assist. The pools are clean and beautifully maintained, and the poolside service makes everyday relaxation by the water a true pleasure. Special greetings and thanks to Ahmed Reda. Our bartender, Hossan Waleed, deserves special recognition for his excellent cocktails and the smile on his face that adds flavor to every moment spent at the bar. In the Grand Plaza, we felt like home, and our stay was unforgettable. Thank you! 🌟🏨🏊🍹
